To the burst of fashion crazed living from a girl that’s simply
GaGa, to the death of a music prodigy, and to certain persons just
being rude at award shows, this was year to remember. But let’s not
dwell and look into the stars of 2010, those who have tickled our
artistic fanny and made us gasp at their art of fashion and music,
like The Gossip who carries fashion’s favorite Beth Ditto, the
industry rebel Solange, the true fashion reality Christian Siriano and
Mr. Matthew Ames who seamlessly creates organic masterpieces.
The GOSSIP
Burning coal into diamonds, The Gossip has captured many hears into
their melodic lines of mosaic music. Straight up pop punksters, they
have had great success with their album “Music for Men”. Beth Ditto a
boldly blunt character of the band is a fan favorite for her being
stylistic gutsy and simply not giving a damn in which many adore. She
has even became a muse for Jeremy Scott who loves to engulf her in his
clothes. Going nuts on stage, The Gossip creates beautiful chaos that
passionately writhes through the hearts of screaming audiences. They
will be on tour next year and you must make sure to get your ticket.

Solange
A true song bird, Solange Knowles has licked a stamp for herself in
music. An indie soul artist of vulnerability, Solange has established
a soft sound that gets to the bottom of hearts of fans. Not wanting to
be the average artist and confirming to industry standards, being a
true statement maker in music, she has also been a connoisseur of
fashion by pumping around in her own trend cutting outfits. Sand
Castle was definitely an album to fly to the moon with but after
hearing a new single Badu, I am pretty sure this next one when knock
chimes off of us and the industry.
Christian Siriano
In the words of Christian Siriano, I announced “Fierce!” has been
written all over his collections for S/S 2010, possessing foxy
balleros, liquid silk dresses, and a rocked graphic body suit that
makes me quiver. Every since his debut through a certain reality show
he has has stamped his “Je ne sais que” of design talent in the
fashion industry. He is taking charge of his own path not letting the
wrath of being a reality star take a damper on his passion. He has had
a shoe collection with Pay Less that screams lushed chicness, a style
book for all you fashionistas titled Style: How to Be Your Most
Fabulous Self, and has the caked out a makeup collabo with Victoria
Secret, this boy is on the move and the wait to see his reign for
2010 is surmounts daily!
Matthew Ames
Classic Americana is defined in the works of Matthew Ames. Creating
simple elegant collections that drapes across a woman brilliantly he
has captured the hearts of many fashion adorers and received notoriety
from the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation. Using only raw fabrics and
not wanting to tamper with the ambiance of design, Ames making
clothing with as less seams has possible Ames gets it and knows
naturally how to make a woman look good.
